Overtime – 17th January 2014
Happy 2014 everybody! Melbourne has had one of it’s hottest-on-record weeks this week, so if you are a local to me, I hope you’re also looking forward to tomorrow’s cool change!
I’m looking forward to spending some more time doing Overtime this year, as I thoroughly enjoy looking at what other designers across the globe are working on.
I spend a lot of time looking at others work and admiring it. It inspires me. I’m looking to funnel that time spent looking at cool things and possibly helping myself (oh how selfish!) whilst possibly giving you all some nice things to look out and possibly check out.

Showcase: Crumbs
I really like websites that can pull off a full-sized image as a background or focal point. I particularly think this image used is very peaceful, and the copy works really well with it.

I love this artist, since I saw his 2 Neonmob sets release. I joined Neonmob back in 2012 and love it – if you like artwork also, I would highly recommend you join in on the collecting fun 🙂

Another large-photo incorporated to a website. I also like this style of buttons 🙂

Doctor Profile
Loving the faded image in the background, colour palette (I have a soft spot for green, if that wasn’t apparent!), plus look at all of that white space!

NeonMob Story Card
by Rogie King
A Neonmob update that I’ve enjoyed on the website since it was sent live.

Homies help homies, always.
Can’t pass up on a cool illustration style mixed with Adventure Time. Mathematical!

Loving the style of this game snapshot. That tree at the top of the image is looking really awesome, plus all the minute details around the ground make this look great.

Colour palette! It helps that I love Veerle’s work 🙂
